Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF) was founded in 1950. In 1938, for the purpose of saving orphans suffering war, the American missionary J. Calvitt Clarke established 42 preschools. Since the first preschool in 1950 in Taiwan, TFCF has founded 24 institutes, 13 affiliated offices, 3 non-profit kindergartens and 7 foreign branch offices. The service covers from Taiwan to foreign lands, assisting more than 300 thousand children with growing up.
